RocketLeague Sideswipe, the popular car soccer version of Rocket League, is now available on Android and iOS.

 

The game has now fully launched worldwide, albeit in a "pre-season" mode before Season 1 kicks off at a later, undisclosed date.

 

The free-to-play game, first announced in March, is a simplified version of the original game released in 2015. The biggest change to the mobile version is that the game runs in 2D, rather than offering a fully 3D playground.

 

The cars can be controlled with the virtual joystick on the left side of the screen, while the buttons on the right handle are used to jump.

Unlike the original game, the car boost is automatically replenished, so there is no need to search for recharge pads. The game is also limited to a maximum of two players per team.
