Wild Hearts is a premium action-adventure video game developed by Omega Force in partnership with EA Originals - the same publisher behind the popular platformer It Takes Two. In this hunting game, players encounter giant monsters in a vibrant fantasy environment based on Feudal Japan.

Wild Hearts brings a new gaming experience popularized by the Monster Hunter franchise. At the core of her experience is a unique crafting mechanic based on Japanese karakuri dolls. Magical Karakuri allows players to quickly build a variety of wooden tools to help them take down the huge monsters called Kemono.

Defeat monsters alone or with friends

In Wild Hearts, players travel across the land of Azuma, a fantasy environment based on Feudal Japan. Once peaceful monsters called Kemono can affect their environment and threaten people's lives. Players, who will obtain life-sustaining technology, are tasked with restoring balance across the lands, fighting off numerous kimonos along the way. Players can either go it alone or play with up to two friends.

Combat is designed with co-op in mind. A group of players can go hunting for packs, expand their battle plans and take on special missions. However, playing the game solo is viable. If you don't have a group of friends to play with, you can always join up with other players in the world if you need an extra hand. Finding a group should be easy because the game supports cross-play.

At the heart of this action-adventure game is a unique crafting system inspired by Karakuri dolls. These wooden tools are seamlessly integrated into combat, complementing players' primary weapons. Players can quickly set up platforms, turrets, bombs, traps, and other tools to use in battle. All the features of this gameplay are presented in stunning next-gen graphics. It features voice acting in English, Japanese, French, Italian, German and Spanish.

Is it worth playing?

If you've enjoyed Monster Hunter, Dauntless, or God Eater games, you'll likely enjoy Wild Hearts. It offers the same action-packed gameplay that pits you against gigantic creatures that have special abilities. However, this game improves things with its interesting crafting system that greatly expands the combat opportunities. The only downside of this game is the limit of three players in co-op mode.
